The Appleton Historical Society Website goes live!

With a great deal of encouragement and support from Mary Ann at Mermaid’s Breath Marketing, the AHS website went live on the afternoon of Monday, December 1, 2025, just in time to be announced at the December AHS meeting that night.

We’re gradually adding content, and next we’ll add an online exhibit of Penobscot Marine Museum photos of Appleton, taken mostly in the 1920s. Many thanks to Penobscot Marine Museum of Searsport, Maine, and Photo Curator, Kevin Johnson.
